The Past 11mths & 1 Week ....

Sorry for disappearing for so long ..... Been busy with work and trying to spend quality time with wife n son......

Anyway..., at 11mth & 1week, zayne weighs in at 11.3KG, has 6 teeth with 1 more on its way out... CHUBBY as ever, always seems to be smiling and laughing, .. recently learned to be really cheeky and playful, and would "hop" over to me and pull my leg hair then escape away laughing... he is standing and "cruising".. and he knows how to slide down from the bed or sofa now .. and he has called Daddy... first ..:P wife is still a little "sore" over that ... not a word of mummy or mama yet..

well.. think Singapore's Ministry of Home affairs should be paying me for what I am going to say now... for all my friends.... Those of you who want and ready to have kids but apprehensive over the cost of raising a kid and planning . DON'T think too much!!! really, if you are ready to have kids.. then JUST DO IT!..

Your fear/anxiety of whether you have the means or time to have a kid is STOPPING you from having a kid, not helping you to plan at all. Its a total waste of all that adrenaline and motivation... I would dare say, if you really want to worry, then have that kid first!!.... then let all the fear and anxiety be the motivation to drive you to work harder to create a better work/live for your kid and your family!!. Seriously, there is nothing more FULFILLING than to see your little grow!!..

To my friends who are expecting or will be due soon... CONGRATs.. and be prepared for the most fulfilling "ride" to come.... Welcome to parenthood... ( never thought I would ever get to say this !!.. ha ha ha).. k time to sleep.. :P

We went to the japanese restaurant nearby the aquarium. We ordered loster sashimi,anago tempura and the biggest cawamuchi we ever had!! food was awesome!! then finally,train back to tokyo...oh! Zayne was playing peek-a-boo using a bowl in the restaurant with papa!!

Mommy First Mother's Day Odaiba Outing

Papa brought us to Odaiba for a relax mother's day outing..We went to the beach there too. Zayne first time playing sand but he didn't really enjoy it. Maybe next time,with his wet suit on,he will like it more! And mommy got a present from Zayne too! He said he will pay papa back the money when he grows up..haha

Fever is gone, but here comes the Rashes...

the passed 5 days was really quite an experience.... Zayne could not have picked a better time to be sick (its golden week here in Japan).... He started with a high fever last thurs morning n was running a temp of 39 -40 C for 3 straight nights till the fever broke on Sunday morning..


But that's when the rashes started... it was only tiny pick dots up till today (Tues), the rashes have developed into big red blotches... and this is the first time I truly feel the pain of other parents when they see their children like this.... really poor boy, and I can't do a thing ...



he has been irritable, eating very little and very clingy to mommy.... plus he seems very tired and sleeps quite a bit the last few days...... SIGH... lets hope he will feel better by this thurs..

My Personal Chef

It is public holiday in japan and papa get to "scratch" his cooking itch. He cooked bak cho kway teow (soup), bak cho mee( mince meat noodles) with the yummy bowl of soup (close to wat you get in S'pore), lou bak rice (pickled veg and braised pork rice),scallop salad, lamp chop with homemade mango mint sauce and desert avocado smooties!!

mommy so wish that papa can be at home the whole time..hahaha
