100 days celebration ( Okuizome )

Today is Zayne's 100 day!.. in Japan, there is a ceremony to celebrate a baby's 100 day
with Sea Bream ( called "Tai" in japanese). Why use Tai ? because of the word "Omedetai"
which means Celeration has the "tai" in it... so somehow, the fish someone decided to give the fish an Auspicious meaning...

But Anyway... i'm a rebel :p I always believe in adopting the local customs, but he he he, we did the 100 day celebration with a Twist... I invented my own Celebratory work. the word "suteki"
means "good looking" so we want our son to be bless with good looks as he grows up... SO..

Boss Armchair

Yeah!! we went online shopping again since things are a lot cheaper there and FOC delivery service too!! We bought our Boss a rocker chair that can vibrate.. Zayne was so happy when he first sat on it...And "rainforest jumperoo" for him to jump an play! This jumperoo is so cool.. music and lights will on when he jumps! then thing can turn 360 degree too!

"A" yes? "A" no?

Zayne just like to make the "A" sound these 2 days!! yes also "A".. no also "A".. haha..

Zayne and Maia

Maia, of German-Chinese descent, is Zayne's very first "girl-friend" in tokyo!!
She is one week older then Zayne, and first-born to Xris and Nicklas who like us just moved up recently to Tokyo...

Zayne has another Kor Kor friend call Aloysious, whom we have not met up with yet...
bcoz Aloysiuos korkor stays in Yokohama City... so need to really arrange a day when weather is good and all the papa and mama are free :) looking forward to meeting them!!

Strange Weather!!!

Weather here is so weird!! so hot on the Saturday and cold on Sunday.. lucky Zayne boy is all prepared! Hot? just show ne ne a bit lo..like papa always does! Cold? Zayne his condom hat ready too!!

Movie Marathon

Long weekend, mummy lazy to go out so we "movie marathon" at home with Zayne boy!

Mooncake Festival!!

Since this is our first Mooncake Festival in Tokyo, we decided to have "nabe" = "steamboat"...
It would be perfect if we have mooncake here!! hmm...

Restaurant Shinonome

Friday, Sep 12...
Hubby decided to end work early ... that was unusual as he reached home at 6pm..
but I was definitely happy :) ... Hubby said that we are having dinner at home and we will be having steak.. so OK.. His the man ....with the apron :P

While hubby was busy doing his Clink Clank in the kitchen, I was busy with Zayne boy lah...
Zayne was kind of cranky that friday. He didn't sleep all day and was still refusing to sleep while I was doing my best to "rock" him to sleep in his hammock....

Finally after 1.5 hour of yo-ing Zayne boy.. he fell asleep.... and I can finally have dinner.. I was really really hungry!!!!... When I came out from the room... I thought I walked into a restaurant..
Restaurant Shinonome??.... have to confess,... we had forgotten about the candle.. ha ha ha if not it would have been perfect...

What's the occassion? hubby said its just romance me... ha ha ha oh and its also friday and the 12... the day that we became a couple "unknowingly" .. ha ha ha

Doing wat japanese mothers do....

Hubby has been busy the last week... with a work trip out to don't know where, .. think he said its called Tochigi...

All alone at home with Zayne boy for 2 nights... hmmm with nothing much to do, I did what most japanese wives do... err... hopefully thats what they do, ... shopping lah.. ke ke ke... but mostly shop of Zayne boy lah...


Well actually made sure hubby ordered this "baby gym" before he left.. and Amazon.co.jp was amazing.. we ordered this at 10am on sunday morning, at 1045am, we recieved an email confirmation that order is being processed and shipped out. This gym was delivered the same afternoon, around 4pm... really amazing

Zayne seems to be having fun...

Something I 've noticed... Zayne only know how to kick the first few days... but today, exactly 1 week later, it seems that Zayne is able to follow movement very well and he is more active now with reaching out and grabbing things with his hands...

Hmm.... I think this baby gym really does what it says ... Good investment!!..
